Our history
Every company has a story. Ours starts in Delft, the city of royal graves, Vermeer, Delft Blue and technology.
After graduating from TU Delft in 2023, Robin chose a different path. Not a career in engineering. Instead, he followed his passion for history & storytelling and founded Discover Delft, a tour company dedicated to showing Delft to a global audience.
With engaging tours, easy online booking and many positive reviews, Discover Delft quickly became the #1 local tour company (according to TripAdvisor). Soon the first guides were hired, each bringing in their own background, stories and specialties.
What started in one city expanded across the Netherlands, and Discover The Hague & Holland City Tours were born. Today, Robin and his team continue to share their passion for Dutch cities with travelers from around the world.

Our goals
Discover The Hague is your gateway to exploring the history, culture and beauty of The Hague and beyond.
We want to:
- show you what makes The Hague beautiful and exceptional;
- help you understand how Dutch history and culture all come together here;
- make your visit to The Hague an unforgettable experience, tailored to your interests.
Our team
Our guides are what makes Discover The Hague Discover The Hague.
All of our guides have different back ground: from architects to engineers and from artists to consultants.
And they speak quite some different languages: English, Dutch, German, French, Spanish and Italian.
But they all share a passion for history, culture and story telling.
You can see (some of) them on our group photo, taken during an excursion to the New Church in Delft.
